The primary function of the Code Enforcement staff is to ensure compliance with the property maintenance and nuisance codes of the City of Winchester.
Complaints
The Code Enforcement staff’s workload is complaint-generated and staff monitored. The staff receives and observes a substantial number of complaints each day concerning alleged violations. Each one is investigated to determine whether a violation exists.
