Public records, City Commission resolutions and ordinances, and other information can be requested by submitting the Open Records Request Form to the City Manager’s Office.
If you have sustained an injury or damage for which you believe the City or one of its employees is responsible, you may report the incident to the HR.Risk Manager who will submit the claim to the City’s insurance carrier.

If you did not receive your property tax bill, please contact the Finance Department at (859) 744-1660. You may also use our Property Tax Lookup to lookup your bill.
All members of WFD are medically cross trained. In some cases, a fire apparatus may be closer. In other instances, a fire apparatus comes for assistance and to provide manpower.
Hydrants are color coded to indicate the gallons per minute and water flow that they can provide.
WFD responders work a 24 hours on, 48 hours off schedule. This is a 56-hour work week average and approximately 2,800 hour annually schedule. As a comparison, a typical 40-hour work week employee works approximately 2,000 hours annually.
Street light outages can be reported to Kentucky Utilities directly at 800-981-0600 or you may report your outage to the Engineering Department at 859-749-7272.
For a copy of an accident report, please contact the Records Division at (859) 745-7400 between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
You may obtain a copy of a delayed accident report from the Kentucky State Police.
If you are in need of a police report in which you are named, or if you need a collision report, please contact Administrative Assistant Wendy Horseman at (859) 745-7400 or email. Wendy can make arrangements for you to come in person to pick up a report or make other arrangements for email if appropriate.
You cannot obtain police reports or collision reports unless you are named in the report. If you wish to obtain reports that do not pertain to you specifically, you will need to file an Open Records Request.
