Required Documents:
  1. Full set of approved construction plans
  2. Proof of insurance (general contractor and electrical contractor)
  3. Approval letter (if under State jurisdiction)
  4. City business license (if work is in the city limits)
    a. list of all subcontractors
  5. HVAC contractor license number
  6. Approved landscape and parking plan
  7. Approved drainage calculations and plan
  8. Site plan drawn to scale
  9. Energy calculations
  10. Flood plain information (if applicable)
Application:
  1. Property address
  2. Owner information
  3. General contractor information
  4. Electrical contractor information
  5. Square footage (finished and unfinished)
  6. Construction costs
  7. Use group
  8. Construction type
  9. Fire separation listing (if applicable)
  10. Suppression plans (if applicable)
  11. Kitchen equipment plans (if applicable)
  12. All documents and a completed application must be provided for processing
Local jurisdiction information:
  1. Inspections:
    a. Footer
    b. Foundation
    c. Framing
    d. Final and Certificate of Occupancy
  2. 24 Hour notice for inspection
  3. All requirements must be completed before the issuance of a Certificate of Occupancy
Note: A bond amount equal to the cost of landscape and drainage requirements plus 25 percent must be provided at the time of application. This amount will be refunded upon satisfactory completion of these requirements.
