| The Clark County Board of Education Food and Nutrition Program would like to invite you orgainzation to participate as a summer feeding site or become a summer feeding volunteer. This program has been in existence since 1968 to meet the needs of the children in our community who are experiencing inadequate nutrition over the summer months. From antiques to collectibles, handcrafts to clothing, candles to produce -all the good stuff will be on US 60 in Boyd, Carter, Rowan, Bath, Montgomery and Clark Counties. It's two-day drive-and-shop adventure for everyone!
There is no cost to participate and the event will be advertised to bring visitors to our area.
You may sell any legal items. Retail businesses are encouraged to become involved and move some items outdoors for a "street sale".
If you are selling concessions you must contact the local county health department and obtain a permit for your food sales. The Health Department will be cruising the route so contact them early! |
