"Homer" A Tribute to Home C. Ledford
8:00pm & 3:00pm - Leeds Center for the Arts, 37 N. Main Street - Join us for a tribute to Winchester's own Homer C. Ledford. The show will feature Homer's music, his craftsmanship, and his humer. There will be live music, stories and skits. All proceeds will benefit the Homer Ledford Bluegrass Music Series. Please call for more information and to make your reservations today.

Mother's Day Brunch
10:00am & 12:00pm - Winchester Opera House, 10 E. Lexington Avenue will sponsor a mother's day brunch. Music will be provide by Kathleen Howe. The first seating will be from 10:00am-11:30am and the second seating will take place from 12:00pm-1:30pm. This brunch will serve as a fundraiser for the Winchester Art Guild and Guild House Gallery. MOVIES ON MAIN PRESENTS "NATIONAL VELVET"
The Leeds Center for the Arts, located at 37 North Main Street, in Winchester, will be presenting the next film in their "Movies on Main" series, "National Velvet," starring Elizabeth Taylor and Mickey Rooney. The film will be screened at 2pm and 7pm on Saturday, May 17th. Tickets are $3.00 for adults and $1.00 for children. Concessions are $1.00 each. Free parking is available in the nearby Municipal parking lot and on the street.

Cooper/Clayton Smoking Cessatation Program
6:00pm-7:00pm - Clark County Health Department - Cooper/Clayton is highly effective, science based program to help smokers and smokeless tobacco users stop for good. The program meets for 12 weeks (1 hour 1 day/week). It provides education and support in a group setting. Bluegrass Chapter of the American Red Cross: Disaster Blaster
6:30pm-10:00pm - Keeneland - This annual fundraiser will include activities such as a live auction, a silent auction, complimentary food and drink along with a live band. The Disaster Blaster is in it's 11th year and has grown tremendously becoming a critical revenue stream in support of the local Red Cross assisting victims in Bourbon, Clark, Estill, Fayette, Jessamine, Powell, and Scott Counties.
