Education The Mission...
 ...of the Clark County Schools is to ensure for each student the opportunity of access to experiences, activities and a quality of instruction.   3. Understanding of governmental processes as they affect the community, the state and the nation;
  4. Sufficient self-knowledge and knowledge of his or her mental and physical wellness;
  5. Sufficient grounding in the arts to enable each student to appreciate his or her cultural and historical heritage;
  6. Sufficient preparation to choose and pursue his or her life's work intelligently; and
  7. Skills to enable each student to compete favorably with students in other states.
Our Administration...
A five member Board of Education governs the Clark County Schools. Board members are elected by district and serve four-year terms. The Board meets the third Monday of each month at the Board of Education office at 1600 West Lexington Avenue. Meetings start at 6:00 p.m. and are open to the public.
The chief executive officer of the schools is the Superintendent. Assisting him in the administration is an Assistant Superintendent, Administrative Director, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, plus Coordinators of Federal Programs.
